Hi, ich habe eine Bitte aus der Buchhaltung: können wir weg von DigitalOcean? Wir haben doch einen Haufen Server auf denen wir selbst virtualisieren können. Können wir den srv02.ffnw.de bitte irgendwo zu uns ziehen? Ich würde es auch selbst machen wenn mir eben jemand eine kurze Info gibt was darauf läuft und was ich beachten muss. Gerne per TEL. Und ich möchte in Zukunft gerne auf Dienste wie DigitalOcean verzichten. Vultr war auch so eine nervige Sache aber da sind wir zum glück weg glaube ich. Zumindest bekomme ich da keine Rechnunge mehr :D Viele Grüße Clemens P.S. warum? Deren Rechnungen zu verbuchen ist jeden Monat pain in the ass. DigitalOcean ist meine ganz persönliche Frustquelle. Zum einen geht das wahlweise über Paypal oder Kredit-Karte statt per Lastschrift was aufwendig zuzuordnen ist und zum anderen nerven die ständig mit ihren Mails schaffen es aber seit Jahren nicht einfach die Rechnung mal als PDF anzuhängen. Stattdessen muss man sich einloggen und die Rechnung suchen. Das war bis vor kurzem noch gerade so ok aber auch schon hart an der Grenze. Aber jetzt muss ich jedesmal warten bis ich einen neuen Zugangscode bekommen habe und der dann im Support-System sichtbar wird. Und ich warte.........................

Finanzbedarf im Admin-Team zu hoch

Hi, ich habe gerade einen Blick in unsere Finanzen geworfen und festgestellt, dass die Ausgaben im Admin-Team aktuell unsere Einnahmen übersteigen und gesenkt werden müssen. Aktuell liegen die Ausgaben bei monatlich zwischen 250€ und 300€. Tendenz steigend. Allerdings dürfen die Ausgaben derzeit und vermutlich auch im kommenden Jahr 200€/Monat nicht überschreiten. Wir haben zwei relativ teure Housing-Standorte bei Keyweg und beim Individual Network Berlin. Ich weiß nicht genau wie das Setup dort ist aber mein erster Ansatz wäre an diesen Standorten die Möglichkeit für Virtualisierungslösungen zu schaffen und erstmal unsere "kleineren" separaten virtuellen Maschinen, die wir bei verschiedenen Hostern verteilt haben Netcup, Digitalocean, Stefan6, dorthin umzuziehen. Alternativ hatte Felix vor längerer Zeit angeboten Virtuelle Maschinen bei Bytemine zur Verfügung zu stellen. Wenn mein erster Vorschlag nicht umsetzbar ist sollten wir unbedingt noch einmal mit Felix in Kontakt treten. Wie ist eure Einschätzung zu den Möglichkeiten? Viele Grüße Clemens

Richtfunk zwischen Hoods

Moin zusammen, wir benötigen einen Workarround um mehrere Hoods auf Lokaler Ebene verbinden zu können. Hintergrund: Wir müssen wie ich denke im Laufe des Jahres die Wittmund Hood auf Grund der Anzahl der Router dringend trennen. Adrian wird aber wohl im November eine Richtfunk Verbindung zwischen Wittmund und Carolienensiel aufbauen (Was ich auch sehr gut finde) und im weiteren Verlaufen dann nächstes Jahr nach Wangerooge ;) Ich habe mir da schon ein paar Hoodkonstelationen im hoodgen durchgeprüft hat aber immer ergeben, dass ich zwuischen Wittmund und Carolienensiel eine Grenze Gezogen habe. Also wie bekommen wir das gelöst? Ohne das wir die Hoods kurzschießen was muss eventl da noch zwischengebaut werden?
