Hi,

we've gotten reports that Gluon 2016.1 doesn't boot on TL-WR841 v5. I've already found out that one of our patches on top of OpenWrt CC is the culprit (probably one of the backports from the OpenWrt trunk).

Unfortunately, I don't have such a device to test, so if you do and and are able to connect it to a serial console, getting logs of the crash would be highly appreciated. I suspect the issue might also be reproducible on the TL-WR741 v1/v2, TL-WR743 v1 and TL-WR941 v4, as the hardware is very similar.

I got a TL-WR841 v5 device from Jens and I could got an serial dump.

The image is our v0.8 image based on gluon v2016.1.x 55dc9c369d763f4b359070b2628efe46d983e0ec

Should I try that experimental image from you?
